All Kinds of Everything: interview with Rykka

What does the Swiss public think of Eurovision?

I feel supported by my country. Eurovision connects so many great people. I have a really great team in Switzerland and it’s not difficult for me to focus on those who are giving me so much love! I feel it.

Do you have any rituals before going on stage?

Usually before I get onstage I’m very calm. Sometimes people don’t understand why I’m so relaxed and chill, but I’m just conserving all of my energy to explode on stage. I like to focus my energy before I perform.

How do you normally watch the Eurovision Song Contest?

Because I grew up in Canada I’ve only been following Eurovision for a few years now. I find it so amazing that so many people grew up with it and have such a special connection to Eurovision.

Hello Europe, it’s Camilla calling! Here are the points from the House of Apcar vote.

Switzerland: 4 points

According to my own personal preference, I have awarded points to all 43 acts entering this year’s contest using the EBU’s scoring system (12, 10 and 8-1 points).
