Moldova: Lidia Isac

Moldova Lidia Isac

After three years vying to represent Moldova at Eurovision, 23-year old Lidia Isac has finally clawed her way into the contest. Moldova hasn’t qualified since 2013, and unfortunately this flavourless track is unlikely to cause a change in tides for the eastern European nation.

What does the Moldovan public think of Eurovision?

It’s seen as an important contest that gives many opportunities to artists. It’s the most popular and broadcasted contest in our country.

Who is your favourite Eurovision act of all time?

Loreen with Euphoria. I think this song gave a new, fresh, modern air to Eurovision. It was at the same time mystical and powerful. A perfect combination between a beautiful song and a great show.

How do you normally watch the Eurovision Song Contest?

I have always watched  Eurovision at home with my family. It’s a good place to discuss and enjoy the entries.

Hello Europe, it’s Camilla calling! Here are the points from the House of Apcar vote.

Moldova: 2 points

According to my own personal preference, I have awarded points to all 43 acts entering this year’s contest using the EBU’s scoring system (12, 10 and 8-1 points).
