Cyprus: John Karayiannis

I fear for Cyprus’ fate this year in Eurovision. This bittersweet, heartbreaking tune calls for a quietly perfected studio performance (atop some sort of stool in a woolly jumper, preferably). Dropped onto a vast Eurovision stage, Mr K seems sadly set to flounder, however softly nuanced his and smart his waistcoat might be. Featuring alongside a few upbeat favourites in the second semi-final, I remain optimistic for his chances to make it to the final.

Hello Europe, it’s Camilla calling! Here are the points from the House of Apcar vote.

Cyprus: 12 points.

According to my own personal preference, I have awarded points to all 40 acts entering this year’s contest, with four countries receiving each set of points used by the EBU (12, 10, and 8-1).
