Azerbaijan: Elnur

Elnur wants to break free with this melody. He never quite makes it. Of this year’s male soloists he ranks just about in the middle, which is a disappointment: Azerbaijan had top 10 standards since angelic Elnur himself was part of the country’s memorable first entry in 2008, until last year’s abomination that led them to the final only to finish in 22nd place. Could this be a new era of bad judgement for my once-favourite Eurovision country?

Hello Europe, it’s Camilla calling! Here are the points from the House of Apcar vote.

Azerbaijan: 4 points.

According to my own personal preference, I have awarded points to all 40 acts entering this year’s contest, with four countries receiving each set of points used by the EBU (12, 10, and 8-1).
